PRAY!

February 20: Cambodia
Under the Khmer Rouge the church at Kompong Som was used as a prison where many, including a Religious Sister, died. Praise God that it is once again the home of a flourishing fellowship, with a center for handicapped children built next to the church. Thank God for the welcome given to students, mothers and children, and that young people are being encouraged to learn and perform Cambodian classical dance. Pray that God may be glorified in the midst of His people. Taize

February 21-22: Vietnam
Pray for the Christians who suffered the effects of severe storms last year in central Vietnam. Although the authorities provided relief for most of those whose homes or fields were damaged or destroyed, such help was refused to Christians because of their faith.

February 23: Vietnam

Pray for 18 Christians arrested on December 10th for distributing Christian tracts at the South-eastern Asia Games. Pray for protection for house church leader and religious freedom activist Nguyen Hong Quang, who was the target of an assassination attempt, following his announcement that he intended to organize demonstrations for the 18 Christians.

February 24: Thailand

Pray for thousands of children whose parents are addicts, drug-dealers or prostitutes. Pray that these children would not be lured into the drug business or the sex industry. Ask God’s blessing on projects which reach out to them, including Christian child-sponsorship schemes, that God would rescue and heal many vulnerable children.
